The Indonesian Minister Dr. Yaacob Ibrahim will come to Jakarta tomorrow

The Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, Dr Yaacob Ibrahim, will be in Jakarta, Indonesia, on July 8.

Dr Yaacob and fellow environment ministers will be meeting Mexico’s Foreign Secretary, Patricia Espinosa – the incoming President of the 16th Conference of the Parties (COP 16) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the 6th Conference of the Parties (CMP 6) serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol.

The Ministry of Environment and Water Resources said the meeting is for Mexico to seek inputs from for a successful outcome at COP 16/CMP 6 which it would be hosting in Cancun in December.

Dr Yaacob will be accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
