“Ipul raised funds for the Koran recital group led by Rohadi [another detained suspect] and knew about the terror plot against the Buddhists and the embassy of Myanmar in May,” the source in Densus 88 told the Jakarta Globe.
Police also arrested Bayu Dwi Ardianto, an unemployed associate of Ipul with ties to the small terrorist network, the source said. Bayu’s status as a suspect has yet to be determined, he added.
